History
In 1972 Bill Duke came to work as a carpenter apprentice for a company called Subcon Services, Inc. At the time, Subcon Services was a drywall and painting company. In 1984 the company changed Ownership and the name changed to what is known today as Subcon, Inc. The following year, Bill Duke became an Estimator/Project Manager and over the next years, Subcon, Inc. evolved into a Tenant Improvement General Contractor. In 1998 Bill Duke purchased Subcon, Inc. and remains the owner today, with over 45 years in the Construction Industry.
Not only does Subcon, Inc. strive for long lasting relationships with our customers but with our employees as well. Michael Houser came on board at Subcon, Inc. in 1991 as a carpenter and in 1997 moved into the office as one of Subcon’s Estimator/Project Manager. Ryan Duke started out in the field in 1997 as a carpenter apprentice and in 2004 became an Estimator/Project Manager.
Subcon’s Project Supervisors started out working in the field as well and have now been with us for over 20 years and some of our field employees have worked with Subcon, Inc. for over 30 years.
Having experience in working both in the field and in the office, has been key to making Subcon, Inc. a successful and reputable Tenant Improvement General Contractor, performing work in buildings all over Tulsa and some surrounding areas.
